The stronghold encloses the historical centre of Adezeno and is characterised by a ring-shaped route along the ancient walls dating back to the 18th century and some valuable buildings, the Church of San Pietro, Giorgio and Giustina; the 12th-century bell tower, the 16th-century Palace of the noble Counts Balbiano; the Ormea Palace; the 18th-century Palace-residence of the Villa family.
